A scientist who specialised in taking photos of things in motion, his work jump started the science of cinematography.
Eadweard Muybridge
A photographer who studied motion. He is important because of his pioneering work in motion picture projection.

James Cameron
Revolutionising cinema with motion capture and CGI and even practical effects if we go back far enough to his Terminator days, that's classic practical guerrilla film making.

Rationalization - A defense mechanism where bad behavior is justified.
Prefabricated - Assembled beforehand so the building process is quicker; "Here's one I prepared earlier."
Contingency - Something that is possible but not predictable.
Subsumption - A minor premise in symbolic logic.

Dialectic - Investigating the truth.
Conflations - Combining two sets of information.

Very witty. Farocki might disagree with your assessment of him - although Marey and Muybridge have both influenced film and animation enormously, whereas Farocki is more of a niche film-maker. However, you need to support your assessments with FACTS and references to support your contentions.
