A scientist who specialised in taking photos of things in motion, his work jump started the science of cinematography. 

Eadweard Muybridge 

A photographer who studied motion. He is important because of his pioneering work in motion picture projection.

Revolutionising cinema with motion capture and CGI and even practical effects if we go back far enough to his Terminator days, that's classic practical guerrilla film making.

Rationalization - A defense mechanism where bad behavior is justified. 

Prefabricated - Assembled beforehand so the building process is quicker; "Here's one I prepared earlier."

  1. Very witty. Farocki might disagree with your assessment of him - although Marey and Muybridge have both influenced film and animation enormously, whereas Farocki is more of a niche film-maker. However, you need to support your assessments with FACTS and references to support your contentions.
    Great definitions.
    Where did you get your information from???? Where are your references??? Get into the habit of linking EVERYTHING with its reference, even better, with an APA reference.
