The 80s

Heavy Metal (1981)
This movie looks like fun. So much whacky stuff going on and a lot of music that I like.

Rock and Rule. (1983)
It looks pretty tame in comparison to heavy metal, it could still be fun though. Very cheesy.

The King and the Mockingbird. Not really 80s, buy it has such a nice style, it looks so good.

The Wind in the Willows (1983)
I don't like it one bit. It's so creepy. That being said, it's also the best thing I've ever seen. Wild.

Dilemma (1981)
Abstract computer animation. Sometimes it looks like word clipart, whic makes sense because of how old it is. But it's pretty interesting seeing how computer animation was back then.

Crac!
This is so nice. It's great to see the journey of a piece of wood being cut down and built back up. It's got a nice feeling to it, like the circle of life.
Also it has tap dancing. I should look at that for my stop motion project.

The Snowman (1982)
It's too British. I don't like it.
Why is David Bowie there.

The Big Snit
This one looks great. I like the wobbly guys.

Take On Me
One of the best music videos ever.

Money For Nothing
The music video is pretty silly, but it's still quite good.

Goodnight Kiwi (1980)
Just a kiwi going to sleep. Very nice. So wholesome.

Door (1986)
A broken door makes people enter a different way. Fun.

When the Wind Blows (1986)
Also has David Bowie in it. What is he doing in all these animations?
Some poor old folks trying to survive a nuke.

Street of Crocodiles (1986)
Spooky faces.

Sledgehammer (1986)
Classic.

Girls Night Out (1987)
Lovely.

Family Dog (1987)
Directed by Brad Bird. The man.

Wicked City (1987)
Looks like a good time. Typical anime shenanigans.

Akira (1988) is one of the best.
The animation is amazing. It's so good.

Prometheus Garden (1988)
more creepy stopmotion.

Breakfast on the Grass (1987)
So good. It's got such a nice style, with the rough lines and fluid, expressive movement.

Max Headroom (1985)
It's so dated. Very good.

The Hill Farm (1988)
