Movies This Week Part 2

Movies #2 This week, as well as the movies, I get to talk about the TV shows I just finished watching. I haven't writing about them yet because I don't consider them to be what I watched this week, more like what I've been watching once a week for the past thirteen weeks. But now that they're done, I can write about them. Mob Psycho Season 2 It's an action comedy show about ghosts, but it's also genuinely one of the sweetest and most sincere TV shows you'll ever watch. It follows the adventures of Mob, who is basically God, but is extremely humble about it. Even though he's "the most powerful being in the world" he focuses on building better relationships and leading a better life without the help of his powers. Everybody he meets learns a lot from their interactions with him. It's a fantastically wholesome slice of life show disguised as an action ghost hunting show. Ten Movies I Like

Ten Movies That I Enjoy For a Few Dollars More (1965), directed by Sergio Leone Western Honestly, I could've filled out half of this list with movies by Sergio Leone, but for the sake of redundancy, I won't. Leone is a master of his craft, changing the western genre forever with his unique style filled with wicked long shots and intimate closeups, not to mention the score provided by Ennio Morricone, which is as smooth as ever, especially in For a Few Dollars More where the music integrates seamlessly with the clocks in the last shootout. World Animation

George studdy (UK) - This man pioneered the commersialisation of animation. He made comics that got enough popularity, so I guess someone let him make some animated shorts. These shorts were about a character Bonzo. Fernand Leger (FRANCE) - Avant garde animation, mixture of painting on film, stop motion and live action. Ballet Mecanique 1924 - it's definitely is avant garde, I'll give him that much. Walter Ruttman (GERMANY) - worked on abstract cimema, called it painting with time. Opus 1 - Basically lots of colours moving around, it's genuinely really nice to look at, a lot of these early animations are quite harsh, but this is quite smooth and calming. Lotte Reiniger (GERMANY) - Used multiple plane camera to give animation depth, using parallax scroll. The Adventures of Prince Achmed - Black cutout silhouettes, looks like shadow puppets , it's an interesting style.
