The lower the focal length (mm), the wider the field of view. The Bigger number, the narrower it'll be.
We have some macro lenses for small things. 60mm and 105mm.
Don't touch the lens.
Focus is the ring on the front.
AF & M. Set to M for manual. I've gotta know how to use a camera.
Set Aperture to orange.
QUAL cycle - Raw, if I want JPG it's gotta be fine.
RAW can mess around with the blacks and whites easier.
ISO - sensor sensitivity. Doubling the number doubles the sensitivity.
Lower ISO have less noise but require more light.
Use lowest ISO possible for best results.
Shutter speed. Doesn't really matter because it's stop motion.
How long the shutter is open. I.E. If things move, they'll blur. Since it's stop motion it won't blur.
IF it was outdoors and not stop motion, thing's would blur.
Aperture . The opening in the lens that lets light through.
Unit if F-stop, "F/#"
Maximum aperture is a smaller number.
Most lenses are bad at the max or min, go somewhere in between.
Change ISO, hold ISO and roll the thing. Probably just do 200?
Aperture is just the front roller. Play with aperture to make sure everything is S H A R P.
WB - White Balance, hold that down and do the business. If you're shooting JPEG, even though Chris told you not to, this has to be right.
Remotes - It just means I don't have to click anything. Too easy.
The remote button is on top. I can take rapid fire photos.
If I'm using dragonframe, remotes don't matter.
Now we're going to do a quick stop motion. 5 seconds long at 15 fps.
ISO 22, F/5.6, 1/2 second shutter.
